The champion is "Deneb," which means "tail" and which has at least seven prominent variations, beginning with first magnitude Deneb itself, Alpha Cygni, then going through Denebola (Beta Leonis), Deneb Kaitos (Beta Ceti), to those quite obscure.

It lies in the south central part (01:44:04.08-15:56:14.93, ICRS 2000.0) of Constellation Cetus, the Whale -- southwest of Baten Kaitos (Zeta Ceti) and northeast of Deneb Kaitos or Diphida (Beta Ceti).

The brightest star in Cetus is [2478] beta Ceti, also known as Deneb Kaitos ("tail of Cetus") or Diphda ("the second frog"). It is a bright yellowish-orange star 96 light-years away from Earth.

The name Difda al Auwel or Al Difdi` al Awwal is "The First Frog." The Second Frog is Diphda, Beta Ceti.
