Cancer, or the Crab, is one of the constellations of the zodiac. It is a relatively small constellation with mostly faint stars that lies in the northern hemisphere.
Cancer, the Crab, is the fourth and the least distinct zodiacal constellation. Its brightest star, b Cancri, shines at magnitude 3.5. In Greek myths, Cancer represented the sea crab sent by Hera to bite Hercules.
