Hubble time
The Hubble constant H_0 has units of inverse time. We can therefore define 'Hubble time' as 1/H_0. The value of Hubble time in the standard cosmological model is 4.35Ã-1017 s or 13.

(a) The Hubble time is one divided by the Hubble constant, which gives a number from 10 to 20 billion years. For a flat universe with no cosmological constant, the age of the universe is two-thirds of the Hubble time.

Generally, the current star formation rate in late-type spiral galaxies multiplied by a Hubble time is approximately the observed disk mass.

Because the Universe was once so hot and dense that even neutrinos interacted many times during the Hubble time 1/H, there once was a thermal background of neutrinos in equilibrium with the thermal background of photons that is the CMBR.

From the relationship to = 1/Ho, the age of the Universe (or the Hubble time, to) can be estimated to be 14 billion years, consistent with the most accurate current value of 13.7 +/- 0.
