M90

M90 = NGC4569 ( 12h 36.8m +13°10´, 9.5 mag. )
This large spiral galaxy in Virgo was discovered by Messier on March 18, 1781. Streaching across some 150,000 ly, this is one of the larger spirals in Virgo cluster.

Also found in the constellation of Virgo is a spiral galaxy known as M90. This is one of the larger spiral galaxies in the Virgo cluster. It is located about 60 million light-years from Earth and is approaching us at a speed of 383 km/sec.

M90: nice spiral in same region as M89.
M104: The Sombrero Galaxy. Truly magnificent, this galaxy is isolated from the rest (although apparently is still a member of the Virgo Cluster).

The Virgo cluster is a massive cluster of over 100 galaxies (including M61, M87, M90, and M100) and a lot of very hot, X-ray emitting gas. This cluster is located mostly within the constellation Virgo.
