Microscopium, the Microscope, is one of the most obscure constellations in the sky. Its faint stars sprawl from the center toward the right and top.

Microscopium is a small, very faint constellation in the southern hemisphere. It was created by the French astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in the 18th century.
