Telescopium, the Telescope, appears as a set of dimmer stars toward the lower left corner, the brighter one Alpha Tel (Alpha Telescopii).

Telescopium is a small constellation in the southern hemisphere. It was introduced by the French astronomer Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in the 18th century.
