Epsilon2C-Epsilon2D is about twice as fast, with a period of 585 years: 5.2, 5.5; PA 83.5º, separation 2.3". Zeta Lyrae is another relatively fixed multiple. The brightest component is D: AD 4.3, 5.9; 150º, 43.7".

An easy object with binoculars or small telescopes is Zeta Lyr consisting of a 4th and a 6th mag star.

It seems that the Arabs visualized Vega and its two nearby stars Epsilon and Zeta Lyrae as an eagle with folded wings, swooping down in its prey, ...
