ADCOCK RANGE - National radio navigation system replaced after World War 2 by the omnirange system.
Up until the 1970s there were still LF/MF four course radio ranges in use known as radio range, Adcock range, standard radio range, A/N range and L/MF range. The range uses a 200-425 kilocycle (Hertz) signal to provide course guidance through the ADF.
