Advisory Ice Detection System is an advisory system annunciates the presence of icing conditions or ice accretion.
Local Airport Advisory, also known as a LAA, is a service provided by facilities that are located at the landing airport. They have ground-to-air communication on a discrete frequency or the tower frequency when the tower is closed.
