QFE: atmospheric pressure at aerodrome elevation. With its sub-scale set to the aerodrome QFE an altimeter will indicate height above that airfield. QFU: magnetic orientation of runway in use.
The ASI should read zero (or indicate the headwind), the VSI must also read zero and the altimeter turned on the aerodrome elevation.
The lowest height above the elevation of the runway threshold or above aerodrome elevation used to establish compliance with obstacle clearance criteria in an instrument approach.
