Anemometer. An instrument for measuring the speed of the wind. Angle of Attack. The angle between the chord line of an aerofoil and the relative airstream, no matter what the angle of the aeroplane.
ANEMOMETER. A device used to measure wind speed and direction. ARMY ASSAULT TEAM (AAT).
We are, however, vitally concerned with velocities; and we will assume that the velocity of the airplane is known to be 75 miles per hour, and from observation on a local anemometer the velocity of the wind is known to be 20 miles an hour.
