Approach control facility

Approach Control Facility: A terminal air traffic control facility (TRACON, CST, RAPCON, RATCF, Tower, etc.) providing approach control service.
Approach Fix: The fix from or over which final approach (IFR) to an airport is executed.

RADAR APPROACH CONTROL FACILITY (RAPCON) - A terminal ATC facility that uses radar and non-radar capabilities to provide approach control services to aircraft arriving, departing, or transiting airspace controlled by the facility.
