General Aviation -- this is the classification of all aircraft that are not operated under FAR Part 121 or FAR Part 135 Commuter rules. Approximately 95% of the aircraft operated in the US are General Aviation (GA) aircraft.

AFSS (Automated Flight Service Station) — A (non-air traffic control) FAA facility providing pilots with weather briefing and flight-plan filing by radio, telephone and in person.
GENERAL AVIATION The 92% of U.S. aircraft and more than 65% of U.S. flight hours flown by other than major and regional airlines or the military. Often misunderstood as only small, propeller-driven aircraft.
In aviation, a ground radar antenna sends radio signal pulses into the sky. These signals are reflected back by aircraft flying in the airspace. The radar scope displays the direction and distance from which the signals are reflected back.
Sud Aviation (later Aerospatiale, now Eurocopter) built this as a high/hot version of the Gazelle. As far as I know, the Lama still holds the altitude record for helicopters of 40,000 feet.
