BREAKOUT- A technique to direct aircraft out of the approach stream. In the context of close parallel operations, a breakout is used to direct threatened aircraft away from a deviating aircraft.
Put two wraps of tape at the ends, three wraps at key breakout points (i.e. where the pitot heat wires breakout from the main harness to the pitot heat), and two wraps at approx. 1 foot intervals.
This beginning force is called 'breakout'. If this required force were not there it would be impossible to fly smoothly while holding a control.
'Breakout' products or parts, produced specifically for military use by a manufacturer other than an FAA PAH using military-provided designs/drawings and specifications, are also considered military unique.
There were several hollywood movies featuring these, including the Charles Bronson movie "Breakout", and "Birds Of Prey" which was a helicopter movie starring David Jansen as a helicoper pilot/traffic reporter.
Akradecki 05:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC) I like MarsRover's suggested breakout. Askari Mark (Talk) 16:10, 29 January 2007 (UTC) I most certainly agree with Mars Rover and think this template is far too generic and ubiquitous and should be broken up.
