Clearance void time. Used by ATC, the time at which the departure clearance is automatically canceled if takeoff has not been made.
Clearance void time. Used by ATC, the time at which the departure clearance is automatically canceled if takeoff has not been made. The pilot must obtain a new clearance or cancel the IFR flight plan if not off by the specified time.
Clearance Void Time
A clearance or clearance void time at an uncontrolled airport must be obtained through ATC/FSS once your reservation becomes available.
CLEARANCE VOID TIME [ICAO]- A time specified by an air traffic control unit at which a clearance ceases to be valid unless the aircraft concerned has already taken action to comply therewith.
