Contrail Streaks
A contrail or 'condensation trail' is a streak of cloud which is created by a jet engine in certain atmospheric conditions. Contrails tend to form very high up in the atmosphere, and can cause the development of cirrus clouds.

Contrails (short for "condensation trails") or vapour trails are visible trails of condensed water vapour made by the exhaust of aircraft engines.
