Cumulo-nimbus. Heap clouds formed of heavy masses, which may rise to a great height. The tops of these clouds pile up like mountains and appear to have a fibrous texture.
Excessively high atmospheric instability, indicated in part by overdeveloped cumulus clouds, or in worse situations by cumulo-nimbus cloud formation. Such conditions will contribute to turbulence.
