Cyclic-Collective-Pitch-Mixing
Type of swashplate mixing which requires a radio with CCPM mixing functions. This uses three servos to control the cyclic, while all three work together to raise and lower the swashplate for collective control.

Cyclic.
See: longitudinal cyclic, lateral cyclic;
Damped frequency.
The frequency of oscillation of an underdamped second-order filter; See Also: second-order filter; Symbols: omega; Typical Units: rad/s,Hz; Dimensions: 1/Time; ...

The cyclic will become sensitive and (depending on how the aircraft leaves the ground heels or toes of the skids last) as you continue to pull in pitch and depress the pedal, ...

CYCLIC PITCH CONTROL - Means of changing the pitch of a rotor's blades progressively, to provide a horizontal thrust component for flight in any horizontal direction.
...

The cyclic must be used to maintain centerline during the slide. If the helicopter is sliding to the right of centerline, left cyclic is required to bring it back. Generally you would not want to yaw the helicopter with pedal to regain centerline.

The cyclic control, essentially the equivalent of the stick on an airplane, controls roll and pitch, and it responds to the gentlest inputs.

LATERAL CYCLIC
A flight control operated by moving left or right with hand in rotary-wing aircraft, primarily to control roll (heading); controls differential pitch ...

Both of these actions can be partially accomplished by moving the cyclic control to the rear and changing the attitude of the rotor disk with relation to the relative wind.

In the early 1920s, Raul Pateras Pescara, an Argentinian working in Europe, demonstrated one of the first successful applications of cyclic pitch.

HOCAC - hands on cyclic and collective see HOTAS below.
HOGE - hover out of ground effect. Also see HIGE.

Flight Director: A system, usually in the form of software, which generates stick position cues from state errors. There are typically three cues: the pitch, roll, and throttle for fixed-wing and longitudinal cyclic, lateral cyclic, ...

The electric trim system, with the switch located on the cyclic control, worked well in removing control forces. After performing some pedal turns, I took off to try some normal and confined-area approaches.

Fatigue Failure is defined as the progressive and localized structural damage that occurs when a material is subjected to repeated or fluctuating loads (cyclic loading).

reduction is the greatest advantage of composite material and is one of the key items in decisions regarding its selection. other advantages over conventional structure include its high corrosion resistance and its resistance to damage from cyclic ...
