2: Forced Landing from Base Key Point
From the base key point, you have a lot of options. If you arrive with the ideal amount of energy, you can fly a nice base leg and then turn final.

Forced Landing: Unintentional landing of aircraft due to any circumstances.

Then a bunch of scenarios formulated themselves: The engine quits and a near perfect forced landing puts the airplane in the trees, right side up, no damage to the sole occupant. But the canopy rails are jammed.

I insist on this point with our designs because it is quite dangerous to have your engine stop and face a forced landing in an unknown field.
