Fuel dumping from an aircraft is used to lighten the aircraft's weight in certain emergency situations.
Fuel dumping Not normally done with our homebuilt experimental aircraft but during an early return to the airport by the big airliners it is likely that the aircraft weight at that moment in time is more than the MLW (maximum landing weight).
