Types of icing are:
a. Rime Ice- Rough, milky, opaque ice formed by the instantaneous freezing of small supercooled water droplets.
ICING - Condition arising when atmospheric moisture freezes on the external surfaces of an aircraft.
IFF - Identification, friend or foe; an electronic device to interrogate approaching aircraft.
Icing? I don't fly in icing conditions in an underequipped airplane unless I have a surefire, 100% guaranteed way of getting out of it, moving through it, or getting on top of it. If I can't do any of these, I don't fly IFR that day. Period.
Practicing indoors will limit the variables you will face during outdoor flights.

The scenario is a good one for practicing your turn to final. Exactly where you should start the turn depends on both your airspeed and the degree of bank you assume at the outset of the turn.
A type of weather advisory regarding certain weather conditions (turbulence, icing, low visiblity) which could pose a threat to only smaller types of aircraft. SIGMET is a more inclusive type of advisory.

Partial Panel: Simulating the failure of one or more instruments, usually by covering them up. This is an exercise, practicing for if the instruments actually fail in flight.
BLEED AIR - Hot air at high pressure, usually from the bypass section of a gas turbine engine, for de-icing, heating, and other uses.
This is similar to a cake-icing dispenser. Now squeeze the mixture from the bag along the corner area where the pieces are joined. A small amount is sufficient. An optimal fillet will have about a 3/16-inch to 5/16-inch radius.
These advisories cover moderate icing and turbulence, winds of 40 knots or more within 2,000 feet of the surface, and the initial onset of visibilities less than 2 miles or ceilings less than 1,000 feet.
SIGMETs are of operational importance to even large transport aircraft, and generally highlight conditions like observed thunderstorm systems (including tornadoes) and areas of reported or forecast severe icing.
Thimble and End Splicing.-The splice must be long and complete. Used on cable; 80 to 85 per cent. as strong as the strand; breaks at last tuck in the- splice.
3. Socket.-Nearly 100 per cent. strong.
4. End Wrap and Solder.
