Local Airport Advisory, also known as a LAA, is a service provided by facilities that are located at the landing airport. They have ground-to-air communication on a discrete frequency or the tower frequency when the tower is closed.

LOCAL AIRPORT ADVISORY [LAA]- A service provided by flight service stations or the military at airports not serviced by an operating control tower.
