Maximum authorized altitude

Maximum authorized altitude (MAA). A published altitude representing the maximum usable altitude or flight level for an airspace structure or route segment.

MCA. See minimum crossing altitude.

MAA--Maximum authorized altitude represents the highest altitude that will not cause a conflict in navaid signals from two different points.
