NORTH MARK- A beacon data block sent by the host computer to be displayed by the ARTS on a 360 degree bearing at a locally selected radar azimuth and distance.
Somewhat misleadingly this is known as the "N " or north marker. Further marker signals are transmitted after every 40o of rotation of the aerial pattern.
