Propjet A propjet is a jet airplane that incorporates the use of a turbo-prop engine to propel itself through the air.
PROPJET See 'Turboprop.' RADAR System that uses electromagnetic waves to identify the range, altitude, direction, or speed of both moving and fixed objects such as aircraft, ships, motor vehicles, weather formations and terrain.
The third type is the turboprop, or propjet. It uses a jet engine to turn a propeller. Thrust is generated by both the propeller and the exhaust gases of the jet itself.
