You are in protected airspace that extends for 15 miles with a 40' to 1' terrain clearance plane, which requires a climb rate of 253 fpm. Do not make any turns until reaching the specified plate altitude.
An area of protected airspace surrounding certain military airfields which normally extends for a five nautical mile radius around the airfield and upwards from the surface to 3,000 feet above aerodrome level.
3. The combination means you could be 400 feet lower than what the altimeter indicates — well below the protected airspace. You could hit the trees on Blue Hill, 3.9 nm northeast of the airport.
