SAY ALTITUDE- Used by ATC to ascertain an aircraft's specific altitude/flight level. When the aircraft is climbing or descending, the pilot should state the indicated altitude rounded to the nearest 100 feet.
One-zero followed by ten-thousand and one-one followed by eleven thousand are ways to say altitudes that will overcome slips of the mind and of the tongue. Watch were to, too, two, can be crossed in meaning and interpretation.
