Servo Control: A mechanical or aerodynamic means of supplementing the pilot's physical effort in controlling aircraft. Sesquiplane: A biplane with a much smaller bottom plane, sometimes called a one-and-a-half plane.
The situation can degrade to the point that autopilot servo control power is exceeded, disconnecting the autopilot. The pilot is then faced with an immediate control deflection for which there was no warning or preparation.
