Short-field takeoff

For density altitudes of 3,000 feet or greater, lean the mixture for takeoff according to the airplane manufacturer's recommendation. Do not lean turbocharged or supercharged engines for takeoff.

What's called for is your best short-field takeoff. That's tantamount to saying you should take off trimmed as you would be for slowflight--or slower.
One trick that's fun in a Skyhawk if the load isn't heavy is a short-field takeoff.
