The scissors turns the rotating part of the swashplate. Grab the hinged part on the right and give it a wiggle. There will be a small amount of play in the plane of rotation, but there should be none in the up/down and in/out directions.
Cut the closed end off the bag using the scissors. Fold the bag in half so the open ends meet each other. Fold it in half again, this time along the long axis. Fold a triangle. The closed end is the base with several inches remaining below the edge.
The next step is to use standard scissors and cut out the tapes you will need along the lines on the plastic. (See Figure 6). As you cut the strips, draw the scissors slightly toward you. This will enable you to make neat, easy cuts.
