Turn Indicator and Inclinometer
Below the VSI is the combination Turn Indicator and Inclinometer. The turn indicator is an electrically driven gyro instrument showing rate of turn, or yaw.

 


Turn Indicator: A gyroscopic instrument which registers the deviation of the course of an aeroplane to right or left.

The turn indicator, on the left side, is electrically operated.
The radios are located in the center section of the panel, and the circuit breakers are in the lower right corner of the panel.

G enerator
R adios (nav and com)
A ttitude indicator
B all - slip indicator
C lock (dash mounted)
Altimeter (Sensitive and adjustable)
R ate of turn indicator
D irectional gyro
(D) ME for above 24000 feet.

The rotation is quite rapid. You can perceive the rotation by outside references, and/or by the spinning of the directional gyro. (The rate-of-turn indicator is likely to be pegged.) ...
