Viscosity

Aviation Victoria CrossVisibility

Viscosity: The stiffness of a fluid, or the converse of fluidity.
Visibility: The distance at which objects may be clearly seen. Fog and haze produce poor visibility.

Air has viscosity
The natural question is "how does the wing divert the air down?" When a moving fluid, such as air or water, comes into contact with a curved surface it will try to follow that surface.

1 These simulations are based on a number of assumptions, including that the viscosity is small (but not zero), the airspeed is small compared to the speed of sound, the airflow is not significantly turbulent, ...

Resins which are very suitable for E-glass applications might not work well with Kevlar - you need lower viscosity epoxy resins to get the most out of your work piece.

As one moves farther downstream, viscosity continues to act, and the laminar boundary layer thickens as more and more air is slowed down by internal friction.

A viscosity cup can be used for the thinning procedure. These are small cups with a hole in the bottom.

Type I fluids have a low viscosity, and are considered "unthickened". They provide only short term protection because they quickly flow off surfaces after use.

no dimensions (see dimensional analysis) and is defined as the size of the flow — as, for example, the diameter of a tube (D) times the average speed of flow (v) times the mass density of the fluid (r) — divided by its absolute viscosity ...
