Washout
Twist incorporated in wing tips to raise the trailing edge, to give less incidence at the tip than at the root. Washout inherently makes the aircraft more stable.

Washout The twist in an airfoil which causes less angle of attack at the tips than the root. Increases stability of the model at slow speeds as the wing tips will stall after the center of the wing, avoiding accidental tip stalls.

WASHOUT - The terms 'wing twist' and 'washout' refer to wings designed so that the outboard sections have a lower ANGLE OF INCIDENCE, 3 or 4° or so, and thus lower AOA than the inboard sections in all flight conditions.

Washout.-Due to torque of the motor, the airplane tends to rotate in the opposite direction to the propeller.

If this is done progressively along the span of the outer section, it is called tip washout.

The tapered portion of the Warrior's wing also incorporates some washout. Stand at the wingtip and sight down the leading edge, and you'll notice that the leading edge twists slightly downward near the tip.

If a wing has a more tapered planform the stall is more prone to occur nearer to the wingtips. Wing washout (were there wing angle of incidence is higher at the root) or stall strips are therefore used to make sure that the stall starts at the root.
