Wide-body aircraft From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (Redirected from Twin-aisle) ...
Wide-body aircraft - A commercial jet with a wingspan generally greater than 155 feet and, in passenger configuration, having two aisles with 8 to 11 seats across in a row.
wide-body aircraft - Generally considered to be any airliner with more than one aisle in the passenger cabin.
An airline considering expansion into international markets, for example, typically cannot pursue that goal without long-range, wide-body aircraft. If it has been largely a domestic carrier, it may not have that type of aircraft in its fleet.
