There is no set probability for every 3-point shot. Every player has their own 3-point percentage, which is simply the number of 3-point shots made divided by the number of 3-point shots attempted.
3-Point Shot
A field goal worth 3 points because the shooter had both feet on the floor behind the 3-point line when he released the ball; also counts if one foot is behind the line while the other is in the air.

O2 cuts around the staggered screens looking for the pass from O3 and the 3-point shot as our first option.

Your kids have been trained to think that the 3-point shot is the cool thing. They've been taught that ESPN will show hi-lights of a great dunk. When was the last time tv showed someone get great positioning and fight for an outstanding rebound?

Have your hands up and be ready for the pass. Don't take any fall-away 3-point shots. Don't throw the ball at the hoop. Use your legs for power and use the same correct shooting technique you do on two point jump shots.
