Whenever the Ball is passed on the wing the strong side post player goes to the elbow.
3 out and 2 in (high and low) to start. Insist on balanced spacing. High post follows the ball to maintain alignment of ball - post - basket. Low post plays opposite side of high post or goes to ball-side corner.
1 and 3 outlet the ball to the first man in their line (2 and 4).
1 and 3 follow their passes and sprint the floor for a return pass and shot on the other end.

You have to make 3 out of 5 to move to the next spot or start all over. As you progress, make it 4 out of 5. Also, add 7 more shots. All off the dribble from each spot. This drill will make a shooter out of you.

For purposes of this discussion, I will use the 3 out, 2 in set which uses 3 perimeter players and 2 post players (see diagram A). Be sure to also take a look at our own mascot motion offense...
#3 brings defender 3 out with him as he moves to fill #1's spot. All these moves are designed to give #2 a wide area under the basket where he can take his defender one-on-one. This same post option can be used on the opposite side of the floor.
