A ball hog is a derisive term in basketball for a player who tends to handle the ball so exclusively that his or her behavior is damaging to their team.
Ball hog: A player that does not pass the ball often
Bank shot: A shot that hits the backboard before hitting the rim or going through the net.
Baseball pass: A one-handed pass thrown like a baseball.
Guess what we did for four hours? Scrimmaged without dribbling. Why? Because I wanted these girls to depend on each other. Also, coach's kids are famous for being ball hogs, and there are no ball hogs when you can't dribble.
