To sink a shot cleanly, as in, "She really buried that jumper."
Buzzer Beater ...
When you come out of the game, don't walk around, bury your head or otherwise make a spectacle of yourself. Take a towel or a quick drink of water and relax. By all means, do not remove any part of your uniform, including your shoes.
Brick: jargon for a lazy shot that deflects off the rim or backboard.
Bunny or Bury: on the other hand, these terms refer to an easy score.
Buzzer Beater: shot that is made on the right side of the buzzer signaling the end of period/game.
