Carrying the ball - also called palming; a violation committed by a dribbler that involves placing the dribbling hand under the ball and shortly holding or carrying it while dribbling.
Carrying the Ball: This is when a player moves his hand under the ball and then brings his hand back over the top while he is dribbling. This is not allowed and the ball goes to the other team.
