Court vision is gamesmanship. Its surveying the situation, selecting a strategy and executing a skill. Its having the understanding and the confidence needed to initiate an educated risk. You don't really teach gamesmanship, you grow it.

A point forward is usually described as a forward (either a small forward or a power forward) who possesses the ball handling skills and court vision to bring the ball up the court and to initiate the team's offense.
This requires court vision and, more important, awareness.
Coaching Points: 1. The ball should never hit the ground. Guards should pass ahead without dribbling. Shooters should catch the ball on the move and lay it in without a dribble.
Practice footwork, court vision, and, the hardest part, increase your teams overall foot speed. Sprints, passing drills, basic defensive philosophy. If you are use to playing zone, get out of the habit.
