Crossover Dribble
Simply, the crossover dribble has you switch dribbling from one hand to the other, by bouncing the ball in front of you across to the other side.

Crossover dribble: A dribble fake which consist in dribbling the ball across the body from one hand to the other. There can be different variations of the crossover dribble.

Crossover dribble - a dribble in which the ball is moved from one hand to the other while the dribbler changes directions.
Crossover dribbling - when a ball handler dribbles the ball across his body from one hand to the other.

This technique is good to use when you're being overplayed. It helps you change direction quickly.

Now they make a low crossover dribble putting the ball into the left hand. They proceed to dribble at the center cone, opposite line, as fast as they can. When they reach this cone, they touch the cone with their right hand.

It is a highly effective counter move to the crossover dribble, as you basically start the crossover before keeping the dribble on the original side. This move is sold with your head, hands, and feet.

Each person then dribbles directly at the person opposite him or her, executing a crossover dribble, as close to the other person as possible. Each pair must dribble with the same hand.

It is especially important to teach that the trailing hand be kept low and in a position to deter a quick crossover dribble by an offensive player, at all times.
