Double figures -When a player reaches double digits in one category such as the amount of points scored in one game or assists in one game.

 


A youngster quickly learns that he may score in double figures, but should his assignment score one more point than he did, then, he better get to work on his defensive skills.

Triple-Double - When a player reaches double figures in three of five offensive categories - scoring, assists, blocked shots, steals or rebounds - they are said to have had a triple-double.

A relatively rare achievement in which a player accumulates double figures in three of the following categories in the same game: points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocked shots.
