Basketball FlashFlex Offense

Flex Offense - Low
This is a common offensive pattern that can be run continuously until a shot is presented. You can run this to use up the clock, too, which means you won't need to learn a special offense for that purpose.

The flex is a type of continuity offense[1][2], similar to (and in fact derived from) the earlier shuffle offense.

Class 4 players are able to flex, extend and rotate the trunk maximally while performing both one-handed and two-handed passes and can lean forward and to at least one side to grasp an over-the-head rebound with both hands.

Flex your knees a set number of times before settling into your stance, or spin the ball in the air in front of you a few times, or bounce the ball a certain number of times. Or do a combination of all three.

Line up in your offensive set. We use the flex. Every pass is a no look pass, no matter what. No one is allowed to shoot for 1 minute. This helps everyone see the floor and not just look at the person they are passing to.

For the best effect, you should spread your fingers on the basketball and flex your wrist. The ball does bounce, so the effort should be slight.

A number of websites and books have diagrams of various offenses such as "Passing Game," "Swing," "Shuffle," "Princeton," "Flex," "UCLA High Post," "Mover/Blocker," "Wheel," "Mixer," "Triangle," "Read and React," et cetera.

Stretch your waist, head, neck in a circular motion with the front,
left, right, back, and forward. Stretch out the arms with the palms
facing toward the person and flex wrists up and down. This exercise
is great for the middle back.
