Players pair off into forward with guard. Starting with the guards behind the 3 point line all forwards gather inside the key area.

The Guards
The Guards in a Basketball Team usually are the ones that take the ball when the team start the offensive attack.
Point guard (PG), also called the play maker or "the ball-handler", is one of the standard positions in a regulation basketball game.
Guards need to keep constant pressure on the passer or ball handler, forcing them off of their desired path of attack.
Point guards need to be constantly drilled in this facet of the game. Balance, balance, balance must be constantly preached. From the "basketball position" a player becomes much quicker, more responsive and ready.
A shooting guard should maintain pressure on the perimeter, but also make offensive rebounds and have the ability to drive through anyone, even if they are double teamed.
