Held ball - When two opposing players both possess the basketball but neither can gain sole possession. In the NBA, a jump ball restarts play after a dead ball is called.
Hashmark line one will pass back to streaking player at halfcourt who then in turn passes to hashmark line number 2, after receiving the pass back from line 2 at the elbow, they will shoot the layin.
