Jam-Down, Back Cut
(Diagram D, JDBC) Walk the defender down to the block, plant the inside foot and quickly make the V-cut back out. This time the defender is ready and is in front you, over-playing the pass.

Kiss of the window-If a player kissed the ball of the window (or backboard), then it means that he got a basket by bouncing it off the backboard.

Dunk (or Jam) - A player jumps in the air and slams the ball into the basket.

A putback jam is a spectacular alternative to the tip-in where the ball is slam-dunked off the rebound in the same motion. Kenyon Martin is one of the perfectors of the putback jam.

Don't allow the cutter to cross your face in the lane. Always try to jam the offensive cutter and force him behind you. You must always try to stay between your man and the ball.
If the pass is made from the post back to 2, 1 must stop 2 from scoring (force baseline and jam up on the dead ball)

Dunk: When a player jumps and strongly throws the ball down into the basket. A spectacular, athletic play often used to intimidate opponents. Also called slam dunk or jam.
