Shoot from each point around the key including the free throw line and 3 pointer at the end. If multiplayer, it is the first person to get around the key and shot the three pointer who wins.

Key: Rectangular area that spans from the free throw line to the baseline. Also called the lane. A three-second violation is called if an offensive player stays in the key for three seconds or more.

Key points: Make sure the player waiting for the rebound is well balanced, with his arms up above his shoulders, elbows bent at ninety degree angles.

Top Of Circle (Key)

The top of circle is the area straight out from the basket just outside the free throw circle. It is use primarily as a reference for aligning offensive and defensive players.

Shooting Guard

The key to defense is to accomplish possession without touching the opposing player and impeding their progress. Otherwise, the offending player is charged with a foul.
