Currently, I believe only the NBA, WNBA and NCAA Women use this rule, which extends the time period of offensive/player control foul until an airborne shooter returns to the ground after releasing the shot.
For example, in each of the seven games so far this season, my boys have drawn two or more charging calls (player control fouls) on the opposition.
