Post shooting
This is a drill that helps the posts shoot under pressure. The shooting inside the paint is the skill that is being worked on.
Post Player Rules
Any time one post player receives the ball, the other post player cuts, diagonally, across the lane to the opposite block as shown in Fig. 5.
Low post moves
1. Drop step to baseline.
After receiving the ball, feel where the defender is. If on the lane side, or high side, give a fake toward the lane.
Post has 2 on the wing, 4 flash cuts across the lane, or 3 for quick jumper.

The post can also set up low on the blocks.

To see if you are making any progress, add defenders. I usually ask for volunteers so there's no confusing rotations.

When in the low post, maintain a wide base with a low center of gravity. Keep your elbows out, parallel to the floor and keep your fingers spread out waiting for the pass.
