The Wheel Continuity Offense

Wheel Diagram 3 illustrates the third play, which is another shuffle, or flex, cut to the basket. Again, the screener which is #2 in this case, always opens-up toward the ball. Often, the screener becomes the open man.

I've had so many e-mails from you readers asking me for a simple offense against a m-2-m defense that I guess it's time to give you a simplified version of The Wheel.

Limited stability during reaching laterally for rebounding; often executed by holding the side of the wheelchair with the off hand. Able to push the wheelchair forcefully with no loss of anterior or posterior stability.

Insert the metal axles into the center of each wheel. Place the wheels under the base into each of the slots on the back of the base. Press down on the top of the bass until you hear a click indicating the wheels are locked in place.
